I guess I get first post in here. 
Who am I ... an artist, many things really... Just thought I would drop in and say hi! ... The community should be stopping in and saying hi as well, I wasn't aware until the other night. I don't get around the Ms. Marshall's site enough... I had thought that the forums where going through a renovation of sorts, but as I had originally thought.... I think Ms. Marshall is going to strike out on her own. Sony is this . big behemoth of a juggernaut... Perhaps she will get the exposure that she deserves. One of the reasons I never really got serious with any of the record companies is because of their expectations in career development, to make them money. Not to develop individual well being. Though coming from someone that hasn't been there. It is only speculative at this point. I don't know if she was or wasn't happy. But, I did see the industry as a black hole for peoples careers. I hope some day to sell some of my work, or even perform some of them, but they do lack a lot of work.
Anyway, best to the board.. hope it continues on.
